We're glad to let you know we've at last updated the site.
In this update, we have new art by Stevie, and a story by Scottie written using a previously posted drawing.
A new author is featured, Mikey J, with the first episode of a promising saga.
And last but not least, a new episode of Quite a Boarding School by yours truly.
More stories to come soon, we have a few in store...

Activity had been slow lately on Tugstories, but here comes a new update.
A new piece by Stevie, illustrating that trespassing is a risky business, and that some landlords do know how to retaliate against rule breakers…
A major classic, with a 12-chapter story by Richard UK, completely edited. Paul, fed up with his older brother's condescension, joins Richard's "band of lunatics" to face a voracious manhunt challenge.
Dingbat has his favourite characters featured in a story rife with knots and treachery, called Doug and Jeff.
Another one of PH’s entertaining stories, Jenny’s School of Revenge, in which payback takes the form of tickling.

April 26th, 2009: New authors, more art
More authors join us this week.
First of all, we've got Charlie's beginning of The Longest Week, a saga that will take us through seven days of TuGs.
Then Romanirob starts The Grand Contest, a tale of TuGs training, competition and friendship.
More of Tobytickler's Rope Float, with chapter five of his story.
Another vintage TuG chapter with Richard UK's Devious Scheme.
Art by Cinched, Twins' Dilemma, which shows that twins might have this innate sense of communication hampered by the proper amount of duct tape.
And yet, more of Stevie's artwork, with Skylar's Revenge; one should not antagonize a kid with this type of payback in mind!
April 19th, 2009: More great stuff at TuGstories!
This week, we have a whole illustrated story by Cinched. Great writing, great illustrations for The Bound Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Mark Twain would have had a smile at this spin-off.
Another story by Dingbat, called Fun and Games, that shows that Doug and his friends always find something to do, and it’s not video games.
Two more drawings in Stevie’s gallery. Kids who don’t behave may end up in quite a bind…
And the long awaited chapter 24 of Quite a Boarding School, in which Lewis’ devious plan finds its completion.

Once again, we ’re very grateful to our authors for contributing their works. On such a glorious day, we have great news for our readers.
First of all, we’d like to introduce Edo. He’s an artist, and he writes short tales that go along with his drawings. His native language is Spanish, but thanks to Ikarus and Nicholas H., his stories are in German and English as well.
Well, Ikarus and Nicholas do provide even more great content for this update.
Ikarus translated PH’s stories in German.
Nicholas H. has a new revised chapter of The Boys’ Knotty Summer, called Battle Ends, with an additional illustration by Spinario.
And we have one more Stevie pic in his gallery, which proves that you should always choose your clothing carefully, just in case something happens.

Though it’s not a weekend, we’re glad to let you know that there’s new stuff on TuGstories. We are proud to let you know that a great author, Cinched, has joined the club. His stories are not only well-written, they’re also quite funny and full of tie-up situations. On top of it, he creates some CGI art to illustrate the stories.
Speaking of his artwork, Cinched did a few for The Boy’s Knotty Summer. Nicholas H. has gathered all the drawings that lay on the dusty shelves of his hard disk that he collected over time from Alfonsino and Dominik, and they are now featured in the story (you'll see a little image icon next to each chapter title that indicates an illustration is available).
We have even more, since another great artist jumped in the TuGboat, Stevie, and you can find his drawings along with two stories by Nicholas H. (one even translated to German, thanks Ikarus!) in his art gallery. If you feel inspired by Stevie's art - who wouldn't?- feel free to submit your own storylines for the drawings in the forum.
So, enjoy, and come around. More artists, art and stories coming soon!

The site in its current state has been on for well over a year now. Thanks to Daniel of Tieupgames, we've enjoyed some reliable and trouble-free hosting. It has allowed the site to grow steadily in audience; the number of daily hits has never been really a concern, as no one makes any money out of it. But seeing more people come and read is no small pleasure for us.
Nevertheless, we won't stop here; we have more plans to expand and provide you with more content.
A broader range of Tugstories
First of all, our initial aim to gather the best tie-up games from the web is still on. We still want to let people know we're eager to get some stories that fit the requirements.
So, we would like people to see the forum as a place to propose their stories. We started with quite strict requirements, and we're afraid we might have scared some people off. We still want above average stories, with plots, characters, and some sort of literary interest. As far as the content goes, we're more male-male oriented, but we're not bigots. If it's a good TuG story, that's what we're after. Plus there's nothing wrong with posting a story on the forum. It doesn't guarantee it ending up on the site, but it'll be read and given some comment, at least from us.
TuG Art!
A major change is that we will host some art on both the forum and the site. We have met great artists online. So far we had one illustrated story, but we'd like more.
The art will follow the same rules as the stories. No photos, no sexual content, no nudity and what's questionable is at our sole discretion. As for the characters' age, the aim is more to have kids in their teens.
Read the stories, they're an indication on what we're after. In doubt, do ask us (see e-mail addresses below).
TuGstories in your language
Last, we wonder whether there are people out there willing to commit to translating the stories that are online already. There are visitors from all over the world, and we think it could be beneficial to offer the stories to a non-English speaking population. We're looking for people who can translate in French, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Dutch.
The reason for this choice of languages is that these are languages in which we can proofread properly. We're not looking for people with a huge experience, but some who pick a set of stories and tackle it because they enjoy them, and then maybe share them with friends who might not be skilled enough in English.
If this is of interest to you, and that you feel like taking part in this improvement, scroll and get our addresses below.
Participate, write and comment!
We cannot stress enough the fact that dropping in a line or two is always a great pleasure for these very vain people we authors are. Even using the little star system at the bottom of each story does give indications as to the enjoyment it gave to readers.
So, if you're a writer, and artist, a translator or a reader and you enjoy this site and want to contribute in your own way, please do so, either by posting in the dedicated forum thread, or by emailing either:
