Cody's Revenge - Part 2 - Ambush Collin just ran off, happy he finally could escape his tormenters. "Good job!" Ron said. "Yep!" Cody agreed. "Now it's time for your revenge." "Not yet. I want this to be a big thing." Cody replied. "So tons of rope, gags with moth ball flavor and unseen torture!" Ron was thrilled. "Oh yes, but I'll make up a plan first. I want a perfect revenge. Let me think about it, I'll tell you more about it as soon as I've figured it out completely." Cody explained. "Well, let's go back to your place and fetch the pics." "No, they'll stay where they are. I don't want Kevin to become suspicious. And I guess our friend Collin won't mention a word." "I wish he wouldn't. He's a nice lad and very good at interrogations." Ron sighed. "Anyway, I'm off. See ya!" "See you!" Several weeks passed without any new development in the revenge case. A few days before Cody's birthday Ron went into town to get a present for Cody. While going through some record bins, it struck him. Now he knew what the perfect gift would be! Cody and Kevin both had their birthdays in August, so both gave pool parties at their place. Their parents had the only pool in town and it was a huge one, so a lot of kids came to the festivity. Ron knew that Collin would also be a guest. Or at least he thought he would be. Yet he was an integral constituent of Ron's birthday present. When Ron later remembered those golden olden days, he had to admit that he could have made up a plan without Collin's participation. However, he--and maybe the reader--still was convinced that Collin was one of the most joyous ingredients of the whole thing. Cody's party began at two in the afternoon. Since Ron had other plans for Collin, he settled down in wait two hours earlier. He was hiding behind a hedge from where he could see Collin's front door. As soon as he'd come out he'd convince him of a very different engagement. Finally Collin left the house. He was wearing Speedos, sneakers and a fancy shirt. When he came close to the hedge he walked up to him. "Hya, Collin!" "Oh, no not you again!" replied Collin slightly horrified. "I'm afraid so." "Well, what do you want? Shouldn't you be at Cody's place?" "Not yet. We'll see him later." "Who 'we'?" "Us." "I'm going to see him in exactly two minutes." "Not exactly. See, I want to give him a very special birthday present. And I need your help. You can't refuse me that favor, can you?" "Oh yes I can. As long as it involves being tied up and tortured and all that stuff." "Not necessarily. Maybe we can at least avoid the torture this time. Depends on whether you're willing to cooperate." "So I'll end up tied and gagged anyway? What kind of cooperation?" "Well, that's the point. I can't tell you now, I guess you'd refuse right away. There's just two things you oughta know: you have to be out of the way and I'll give you enough time to make a decent decision." "What if I say no? I mean, I say no. No! No! No! I'm not you're plaything. Whenever we meet I end up in ropes and with moth balls in my mouth. That's not fair!" "Well, I must admit that it's not extremely fair. But it's your fate, you're in this thing…" "No, I'm out! Once and for all!" "You're not. I accidentally ran over this!" Ron showed Collin the 11 th pic. "Why…" Collin started to yell. "I must have made a mistake. Maybe I just gave you 9 pics or it was 11 altogether. I'm terribly sorry 'bout that, but math isn't my favorite subject…" "You're a swindler! A blackmailer! A coward!" "Well, from a legal point of view there might be hints of swindling and blackmailing. But a coward? Never!" Ron protested. ***** "Okay, let's make a deal. You're bigger and stronger than me, I haven't got a chance. I'll play the victim once more. One last time!" Collin erroneously stated. "But only if you prove that you're no coward!" "Okay," Ron fatally agreed. "What shall I do to prove it? Blow up some frogs? Steal drops at the grocery store? Unscrew the police car's license plates?" "None of that. I want revenge. If you're no coward come to my place next Sunday, bring a bag full of rope and bandanas and expect the unexpected." Collin triumphed. Since his ordeal at the playing ground, he had spent many an hour thinking about such a pleasant occasion. "You mean…" Ron stuttered. "I do!" Collin confirmed. Ron was shocked. Was it worth paying this price? Did he have any other chance? Of course he could grab the boy and take him home. But he'd resist heavily. He couldn't risk attracting attention. He'd be seen as a kidnapper. What's more, he was dealing with a younger kid. He didn't want to be seen as a coward. Collin had proven his courage during the interrogation. Now it was his job to prove he wasn't a coward. And there was even something else, something rather unconscious. He'd never been tied up so far and somehow he felt it might be fun. And Collin was a nice lad after all… "Okay. Yet I want to stress that this is a concession I wouldn't have to make. I just want to be fair." "As fair as always." "No, this time I mean it. You'll get it in black and white soon as we're at my place." "Hopefully." "Nuff said. We gotta get things going!" Ron insisted and produced some rope out of his pocket. "Oh no, please not! That's not necessary. I promised to come with you!" Collin said with despairing voice. "Yes you did but I won't spend a whole Sunday in your grip if you don't play your part now. I can't risk anything. Take off your shirt!" Ron commanded. "Why that? I missed it last time, I'll leave it on this time." Collin refused. "Listen, we need it to cover your tied hands. I don't want to run around town with a tied up kid. And you wouldn't want to be seen dragged through the streets like a lamb to the slaughter as well, would you?" Very much to his dissatisfaction Collin had to agree to that point. He pulled of the shirt and offered Ron his wrists. "In the back, please. Safety comes first." Ron insisted. Having agreed to that horrible deal he felt he should make the most of the situation. Collin mumbled in annoyance. Yet he obeyed. As soon as the rope tightly enclosed his wrists, he knew that the game started all over again. He identified a somewhat strange feeling. He could easily have run away, yet something made him want to be part of this new adventure. On the other hand he felt most uncomfortable while trying to get used to his restrained arms. The rope was rough and scratched. But which brave boy would argue with his kidnapper about the comfort of his bonds? Ron covered Collin's tied wrists with the shirt. Then he tied another short piece of rope around the wrists. He kept the other end like a dog lead in his hand and started dragging Collin away. Collin was surprised and started the way into his new ordeal like a car in the wrong gear. "Calm down! You've made it, you got me. I won't make any trouble." Collin said. "Okay, just follow me to my place. I'll explain you all the rest in my room." "Can't wait. I feel like I already know my role…" ***** The boys reached Ron's home without any problems. Ron opened the door and asked Collin to be silent. Ron's room was on the first floor. Once in the house they had to go up the stairs next to the front door. When they had reached the third or fourth step a voice came from inside the house. "Ronny, how many times have I told you to take off your shoes!" Ron's mother shouted. Ron's heart almost stood still. Why was she home? His parents ought to be fishing for the weekend. "Okay, Mom!" he answered most friendly. A few gestures and Collin understood he wouldn't survive the next five minutes if he made any sound. "I'll take them off!" And he did. Yet it was two pairs this time. First he took off Collin's shoes. He'd have to take them up to his room. When Collin's shoes were off he recognized a certain smell. He again looked at Collin's feet and spontaneously decided what to do with his socks. "Sorry, mate", he said while he crammed the socks in Collin's mouth. "I'm sorry, but I can't take a risk…" he mumbled. Collin's last whispering sounded something like that: "No, please spare me thammmphhh!!" Meanwhile he always listened whether his mom was coming to see him. But she seemed to be in the kitchen. Since Ron didn't wear socks at all two barefoot boys resumed their way up to Ron's room. In the room Ron made Collin sit on his bed. "Listen, I'll have to check the situation. My parents shouldn't be here today. When I'm back I'll tell you more." "Mmmphhhh." "Sorry, the socks stay in until I'm back. At least…" He took Collin up, threw him on the long way on the bed and checked the knots at the wrists. "Looks secure. You feel safe as well?" "Mmmmphhh." "Well then, let's have the same treatment for your ankles." No sooner said than done Collin's ankles didn't allow any noteworthy movement. Then Ron hid Collin under the blanket and went downstairs. Time enough for poor Collin to rethink his situation. He was supposed to have fun at Kevin's pool by now. Instead for some odd reason he had somehow agreed to let himself be abducted and wrapped up like a birthday present. Present. Now he remembered that he seemed to be part of a birthday present. Or was he himself the present? Did those guys give each other tied up boys from the neighborhood? He tried to find a more or less comfortable position. Though he didn't like the darkness under the blanket and the scratchy rope he had to admit that apart from his dirty old socks he was eager to hear more from Ron. Ron had to learn that his parents had cancelled the fishing trip because they had an invitation for dinner at his father's boss. So they'd leave sometime in the afternoon. Well, that complicated matters. There was another thing that worried Ron. He had accepted that weird deal with Collin. And he was willing to fulfill it. Yet he had to be careful now. Though he still wanted to have some fun with his nice victim he shouldn't go too far. He was the next in line… When he came back in his room he went over to the bed. His huge blanket covered Collin completely. Good to know. "Well, we have a problem. My parents won't leave the house before half past three. That's no danger for my plan, but it worsens your situation. I actually didn't want to treat you that way today, but as long my parents are here…" Collin's mumbled reply was soaked up by the blanket. Ron lifted the blanket. Collin lay sweaty on the side. "If you promise that you'll only whisper I'll free you from the socks." Collin nodded excitedly. When the socks were out he took a deep breath. "Thanks" he whispered. "Listen," Ron said. "I'll have to gag and hide you again as long as my parents are here. Believe it or not, I'm sorry about that, I just wanted to ask you for a favor and couldn't take the risk you said no." "What kind of favor?" Collin whispered while he tried to find a more upright position. "You remember our first encounter?" "Sure do…" "Well, I thought it was time for Cody's revenge. And I want to give him Kevin as a finely trussed up birthday present." "Go ahead and let me go then. My name is Collin, I'm a boy from the neighborhood who oughta have fun at Cody's pool right now. I don't want to spend the best part of summer tied up by people who take me for someone else." "You're part of the plan. The most important part. I can't really ring Kevin up and ask him to come over with a bag of rope. Not on a usual day and today less than ever. But you can!" "I…?" "Yes, you're the perfect partner in crime. Kevin will miss you at the party. So if you ring him up later and tell him it's awfully important to see you some place, he'll be here in no time." "No, that's too much. I won't do that. He's my best friend. I betrayed him once under torture…" "Under torture, yes." Ron interrupted him. "That's what you'll undergo again. Lest you are not a brave but a sound boy. We can spare the torture if you make Cody's birthday present happen right now!" "Never. Torture me, keep me here for weeks, stuff your granny's socks into my mouth. But I'll never do that!" "Thing is, that I don't want to torture you too much, 'cause we have that deal. Yet if you want to destroy my plan I'll have to take on drastic measures." "Go ahead. But first I want your written confirmation of our deal." "Well…." "Right now!" Collin said dangerously loud. "Ssh! Okay, I write something down." "Not something. I tell you exactly what you'll write. Make two copies." "One for me and…" "No both for me. Now go ahead." Collin commanded while he tried to squat. But his tied ankles didn't allow for a comfortable position so he sank back a bit. 'What's going on? A tied youngster is going to dictate me my own doom." Ron thought. Indeed Collin had his best five minutes of the day while he told Ron to write things down he hesitated to put on paper. We'll get to know more about these horrors in a later chapter. ***** "Well, you've had your fun. Now we get back to business. You're still my prisoner and today I am in command. You're still not willing to help me out on my plan?" "Never!" "Okay, seems my parents' delay offers some advantages as well. As long as they're here I can't start the torture. So you'll have some more hours to rethink your inconsiderate decision. But as you're here and not very cooperative I guess I should give you a little taste of the things to come. Your situation's still way too cozy. We oughta change that. It might help you in finding a more cooperative approach." "Oh please, not. Spare me that. Can't we just wait until you're parents are gone and then start whatever you think you have to do." "If you think that'll do. A little torture afterwards and you call Kevin?" Again Collin had to decide whether he'd betray his friend. Or at what cost. This time he really didn't want to do it. On the other hand he had Ron's written consent for his revenge. Maybe he could tell Kevin it was his revenge. Maybe, if he gave in - after having been sufficiently tortured - and just in case some parts of the treaty would be rewritten… But if he didn't want to risk a bad conscience there was only one answer at the moment: "Never!" "Alright! Let the party begin. Let's see what might fit as a gag." Ron said, because he didn't want to reuse the socks. He feared that Collin would keep them for their next meeting. He went through several drawers. All he could find was some old yet clean undies. No moth ball flavor. Boring. Yet why not add some flavor? "Want something to drink before you get silenced." "Better not. Can't go to the toilet as long as your parents are here. But thanks anyway." F#+&! "But I'm going to fetch me something now. I'll bring you something for afterwards. Coke, Sprite, Root Beer?" "Coke's fine. Please no Root Beer. I hate that stuff, it's disgusting…" Before he had ended he understood: "Thanks!" Ron triumphed. "I hate that stuff as well." Collin continued. "Therefore I still have a can somewhere. Some friend left it here. Where is it?" He finally found the can, poured the horrible juice in a bowl, drenched the undies thoroughly and finally knotted two or three of the discarded pieces. "Here we go!" Collin's desperate look almost made him stop. But he had sold his soul for this, so he had to make sure the boy would sooner or later give in. And at this cost he deserved his fun as well. "Try to hold your tongue!" he laughed. "And now let's see how we can make you a bit more hostage-like. Some more rope is essential." Ron started to pull some rope around Collin's belly and haunch to which he attached the already knotted wrists. Once in a while Collin mumbled and sighed while Ron turned him round on the bed. Next he hogtied Collin, connecting the ropes around ankles and wrists. "Let's add something new!" he finally exclaimed. Again he went through his cupboards. There weren't really many things he could use. Finally he found an old bandana. "Now watch this!" he said. Collin immediately regretted that he obeyed the order. The cloth was also drenched in the root beer bowl. "For external use." Ron said and blindfolded poor Collin with the bandana. "There's still so much left. I'll use it as an ointment." He rubbed some of the juice over Collin's face. Collin struggled and wriggled in his bonds, yet he was helpless." "That should do for now." Collin stated. "We'll let it work in." He threw the blanket over Collin and soon found he'd made a big mistake. His mother could come in every moment so he had to hide Collin. But the hogtied boy under the carpet looked like the Rocky Mountains on a clear day. He had to tie Collin in a rather flat way. He lifted up the blanket again. Collin just felt it, but he couldn't see it due to the blindfold. "Sorry mate. Technical problem. Can't hide you like that. What are we gonna do now?" Ron untied the knots that connected Collin's ankles and wrists. He sat there for a while and tried to make up other possibilities. "We can't leave you like that. That's way too comfortable. You can't rethink your decision like that." Then he realized that he could tie each of Collin's wrists to either of the bedposts in a spread eagle position. Collin was still on his stomach and blindfolded but he felt how Ron roughly grabbed his left ankle. He was dragged towards the other end of the bed. When the scratchy rope touched his ankle he already knew what was going to happen. He actually would have preferred a spread eagle position - at least if his hands would also have been stretched out. But Ron didn't do him the favor. When he had stretched Collin's legs reasonably far out he thought it looked uncomfortable enough with the boy's ankles still attached to his back. "We'll leave it like that for a while. Maybe I have some more ideas later on." Ron said. Before he spread out he blanket again he renewed the Root Beer massage. "Now you have quite some time to think about your situation. Use it well!" 'I will', Collin thought. 'I certainly will!' He was happy about his plan for a common revenge with Kevin. So he concentrated on finding a more or less pleasant position. But with the stretched legs and the immobilized arms there was not much of a choice. So he started envisioning his revenge. Every retching caused by the root beer lead him to more colorful plans for the next weekend. And he had quite a lot of time. He spent a hot summer afternoon under a thick blanket so he was sweating heavily. ***** His sweet dreams of revenge were interrupted when he heard some voices. "Ronny, you're still here? It's Cody's birthday. Why don't you go over to his place." "I will. I have some urgent work for school to do." "School? Right in the middle of the holidays?" "Err, yes a summer project." "Interesting, your enthusiasm. Almost as interesting as this pair of sneakers." "Oh, f… er, I mean, that's Cody's. He forgot them the other day." "Cody's? Did he shrink since I last saw him?" "Oh no, it's an old pair. He likes them very much and wanted to show them to me, cause…" "Well, and he wanted to show you his socks as well. Ugh, they're smelly and…wet." Though Collin didn't want to be discovered by Ron's mom in this embarrassing situation he hardly could fight his amusement. This came close to a tickle torture. "He… I…" "Anyway, take them over when you leave. Me and Dad will be off in about half an hour. Shall we give you a ride to Cody's?" "Oh no, I'll take the bike. It might take a bit longer here." "I hope everything's alright with you and Cody…" "Oh yes, certainly!" "Well then, have a nice party." "Thanks." When Ron's mom had left the room his bed began to shake. Ron feared that Collin had serious problems so he lifted the blanket. In a fog of sweat he recognized that the few visible parts of Collin's face showed sheer happiness. That was very much to Ron's annoyance. It was his part to have fun today. But he had to be more careful next time. Next time! Someone else would have to be careful next time… He again covered Collin, sat on his chair and watched the now almost motionless bed. He thought about next Sunday. Would he find himself tied up in the same way? Would it be fun or dreadful? How was Collin feeling now? It was obvious that he'd given in rather easily. He'd offered him his wrists in no time. Ron decided to at least get a taste of what was lying ahead. He lay on the floor, crossed his arms on the back and spread his legs as far as he could. This came close to Collin's position. After two or three minutes his arms and legs hurt a bit so he decided to stop the experiment and to talk to Collin. He lifted the blanket. "Listen, you've still at least half an hour to go… I'm not sure whether you like the situation you're in. Does anything hurt? I mean, I really didn't know my parents were here. I just wanted to tie your hands or feet. We could have played cards or something and then…" "Mmmphhh!!!" "Oh sure, sorry." Ron said and released Collin from the gag. "Of course it hurts here and there. But that's part of it." Collin said while he still spit out root beer flavored dust. "Nice to hear though that this all just happened by accident. Makes me immediately feel better." "I can untie you. Partly. We can leave it at that if you're willing to call Kevin. I'll fetch us some cans of coke and some snacks…" "Sounds great. But you know, that's kinda like in the movies. We can't have a nice picnic here while I'm about to betray my best friend. I mean you wouldn't want to see some hero in the movies who betrays god and country after having been tied up for half an hour." "You're really brave. But you know, this is not the Kong. We're just some kids playing cops and robbers." "Anyway. If I want to get out of this with a reasonably good conscience I have to suffer first. And believe me, I do! But as you said I had time to rethink the situation. You asked me politely whether I might do you a favor and now I ask you to return the favor." "Meaning?" "Well, I can't tell you any details yet. But when you'll be my guest for the next weekend…" "Sunday! Not weekend!" Ron protested. "If you'll be my guest from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon we can help each other." "I don't want to seem cowardly. But... er… I mean… I guess you're a nice guy. But I've never been…I never was tied up before. I might like it, but a whole weekend…" "Don't you worry. Can't you see I'm enjoying myself? And I sure won't use such a scratchy rope and undies. It'll be fun!" Ron sighed. Much as he liked and somehow trusted Collin he felt most uncomfortable. For a moment he thought about releasing the boy, send him home and tell him that the whole story was a big misunderstanding. But he immediately knew that it was too late to back down... © 2007 by Kiowah
